Joanne Paul is a historian, writer and broadcaster specialising in the Renaissance, Tudor and Early Modern periods. She is currently Senior Lecturer in Early Modern History at the University of Sussex. Her most recent published book was The House of Dudley: A New History of Tudor England, which was voted a Times book of the year 2022.
