What subjects does Education in Action cover?
KS3: KS3 STEM in Action
KS4: English, Maths and Science.
KS5: Art and Design, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, History, Maths, Physics, Design and Technology, Psychology, and Sociology.
Our KS3 days are aimed at Years 7,8 and 9, KS4 days are primarily aimed at Years 10 & 11 students, and our KS5 days are aimed at Years 12 & 13 students either studying A-levels or relevant vocational courses. However, younger and enthusiastic students are also welcome to attend any day, as long as the teacher considers the programme suitable.

How do I book events?
You can either use the booking form provided on each subject page or contact the Education in Action team at office@educationinaction.org.uk and 020 3008 6441. We require the name and postcode of the school, the point of contact’s name and email, the subject and event date, and the number of student and staff tickets required. Bookings can only be accepted from schools.
The minimum group size you can book online is 5 people including a member of staff, however, please contact us if you have a smaller cohort of students. The maximum group size is only limited by availability.
We are very sorry but we are unable to take bookings from teachers on their own.
Please note due to the limited capacity we cannot accept cancellations, amendments or offer refunds for bookings within 28 days of an event.
What is the ticket price?
Tickets for our A-Level full-day events cost £27.00 + VAT (20%) in London and £24.50 + VAT in the Midlands and Manchester.
Tickets for our GCSE full-day events cost £19.50 + VAT (20%) in London, the Midlands and Manchester.
Tickets for our half-day KS3 events cost £12.50 + VAT (20%) in London, the Midlands and Manchester.
There is one complimentary staff ticket for every 10 students booked. Additional staff tickets are charged at the student rate.
What is the event format?
Our enrichment days are held in lecture theatres or online. Each day is composed of 4 or 5 sessions, with small breaks and a longer lunch throughout the day.
Our events include interactive elements in the shape of live polls and audience questions, demonstrations, volunteer participation and Q&A’s with the speakers.
Lunch is not included. Depending on the venue, there will be cafes available at or close to the venue. Students are recommended to bring a packed lunch due to the time limitations.
Can a booking be amended or cancelled?
Please note we cannot accept cancellations or offer refunds within 28 days of a venue-based or online event.
Are there facilities for students with disabilities?
All venues are prepared to welcome students with disabilities. Please let the Education in Action team know in advance so we can ensure that everything is ready ahead of the event date.
