What subjects does Education in Action cover?

KS3: KS3 STEM in Action

GCSE: English, Maths and Science.

A-Level: Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, Geography, History, Maths, Physics, Product Design, Psychology and Sociology.

Our KS3 days are aimed at Years 7,8 and 9, GCSE days are primarily aimed at Years 10 & 11 students, and our A-Level days are aimed at Years 12 & 13 students. However, younger and enthusiastic students are also welcome to attend any day, as long as the teacher considers the programme suitable.

How to book online?

For our online events, simly place your booking online .

We offer 1 free teacher ticket per 10 student tickets booked.

You will then receive a booking confirmation containing further instructions.

Each student will need to register once booking is complete (full information will be sent to the booker).

Please we cannot accept cancellations, amendments or offer refunds for bookings within 28 days of an event.

How do I book venue based events?

You can either use the booking form provided on each subject page or contact the Education in Action team at office@educationinaction.org.uk and 020 3008 6441. We require the name and postcode of the school, the point of contact’s name and email, the subject and event date, and the number of student and staff tickets required. Bookings can only be accepted from schools.

The minimum group size is 5 people including a member of staff. The maximum group size is only limited by availability.

We are very sorry but we are unable to take bookings from teachers on their own.

Please note due to the limited capacity we cannot accept cancellations, amendments or offer refunds for bookings within 28 days of an event.

What is the ticket price?

Tickets for our A-Level subjects cost £24 + VAT (20%) in London and £22 + VAT in the Midlands and Manchester for full days, or £10 + VAT for half days.

Tickets for our GCSE subjects cost £18.50 + VAT (20%) in London, the Midlands and Manchester for full days, or £10 + VAT for half days.

There is one complimentary staff ticket for every 10 students booked. Additional staff tickets are charged at the student rate.

What is the event format?

Our enrichment days are held in lecture theatres or online. Each day is composed of 4 or 5 sessions, with  small breaks and a longer lunch throughout the day. There will be some audience participation in the shape of questions to the audience, demos with volunteers and Q&As.

Lunch is not included. Depending on the venue, there will be cafes available at or close to the venue. Students are recommended to bring a packed lunch due to the time limitations.

Can a booking be amended or cancelled?

Please note we cannot accept cancellations or offer refunds  within 28 days of a venue-based or online event.

Are there facilities for students with disabilities?

All venues are prepared to welcome students with disabilities. Please let the Education in Action team know in advance so we can ensure that everything is ready ahead of the event date.
