Inspire your students this summer with our two-week programme of exciting in-person and online events for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. This year, we will be exploring STEM with our science communicators, as well as bringing a fresh persepctive on global and political issues and supporting students navigate the tricky decisions about what career path to follow.
The season starts with two half-day events, taking place online on 16 June: Law in Action at 10am – aspiring lawyers will not want to miss this event featuring advice and careers guidance from law professionals for students considering a career in law. Democracy in Action at 1.15pm – students will gain insight into the workings of democracy in the UK and abroad and have the opportunity to ask questions of speakers engaged in the day-to-day work of ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard.
Younger students can experience the thrills of science and technology with the return of KS3 STEM in Action, taking place in London and online on 23 June (am only) and in Manchester on 24 June (am only), featuring engaging and inspiring speakers who will introduce students to the wonders of science.
We finish the term with Medicine in Action, taking place purely online on 30 June. Expanded to a full day by popular demand, we will hear from medical professionals keen to share their expertise and career advice with GCSE and A-Level students interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
