Stephen Millard is a Senior Economist at the Bank of England, a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and a Visiting Professor of Economics at Durham University Business School.  He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University where he studied with the Nobel Laureate Dale Mortensen.  He has published in the Economic Journal, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the International Journal of Central Banking and the Manchester School.  At the Bank, he works in the Structural Economic Analysis Division, where he is currently doing research in the areas of inflation dynamics, the labour market and productivity.
