Stephen Dobson is Professor of Economics at the University of Hull. He has written extensively on various aspects of the economics of football, including bias in football refereeing, the demand for football, the impact of managerial change on team performance, and gambling in football. He is co-author of the book The Economics of Football (Cambridge University Press, 2011). Stephen has extensive teaching experience in universities in the UK and overseas. His teaching interests are in microeconomics and the economics of sport.
