Dr Simon Carr is Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography at Queen Mary College, University of London. His research and teaching focuses on the interactions between climate, glaciers and landscape on short to long timescales. He has received several nominations for a Drapers Award for teaching and learning and in 2013 was the winner of the Queen Mary Student Union Teaching Award for Employability Enhancement.
