Sam Hickling is Technical Programme Manager at Google where he has been employed for the last 6 years. His role includes connecting Google to the Internet Service Providers across Europe and Asia. Sam sits on the board of the French Internet Exchange, FranceIX which supports over 200 members. Working for Google, it is possible to get involved in many varied projects and Sam is currently enjoying working with London Zoo to develop a tracking system that will eventually be set up in national parks in Africa to prevent poaching.
