Rosemary is a lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham and has worked on a wide variety of problems from plant growth, to microfluidics, to how to get icing onto doughnuts. She collaborates with experimentalists and theoreticians around the world, alongside teaching at all levels. She was awarded the Head of School Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2012 for her innovative Mathematical Biology course.
