Richard Elwes is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds where he teaches Geometry and Number Theory. He has written five books about mathematics that are aimed at the general public rather than specialists. Richard obtained his PhD from the University of Leeds in 2005 and has subsequently held several positions at various universities around Europe. He blogs about everything from the maths of wallpaper patterns to topological limericks.
