Currently a Professor at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Neil is a specialist in agriculture, food and environment. Previously, he served for 7 years as the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, and before that as Director of Newcastle University’s Centre for Rural Economy and as a Cabinet Office advisor on agriculture and rural policy.
