Ceramic artist
After studying at the RCA, Kate Malone has developed a practice in three areas: studio ceramics, public art, and glaze research. Awarded an MBE in 2019 for services to ceramics, she has recently been spearheading the Firedup4 charity project with Onside YouthZones, which aims to get clay into the hands of young people. She was also one of the original judges on Seasons 1 and 2 of ‘The Great British Pottery Throw Down’.
