Designer

Julia Georgallis is Designer/Baker/Entrepreneur who recently graduated from the Royal College of Art. She studied Product and Furniture Design at Kingston University, London and Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, Milan. She currently volunteers as a bakery in a sourdough bakery and is working to launch moving micro bakery, The Bread Companion in June 2015.

In the past, Julia co-founded and ran pop up market stall brand ‘Today’s Specials’ in collaboration with Richard Brendon and now co-runs millinery brand C.O.I.F with German industrial designers Hermes Jessen, which will be officially launched in September 2015.

Having worked in a number of roles within the design world which include PR, sales, production management, project development, branding development and practical design tasks, Julia believes in collaboration, community and entrepreneurship in design. She is excited by opportunities in funny places, guerilla style businesses and has a weakness for baked goods.
