Jerry Brotton is Professor of Renaissance Studies at Queen Mary University of London, an author, a curator and a television and radio presenter. His research focuses on 16th century cultural and intellectual history and his books have been translated into 20 languages. His recent BBC Radio 4 programme ‘We Other Tudors’ delved into the real lives of some lesser-known inhabitants of Tudor England.
