James Ducker is a master shoemaker. After completing his training in Barcelona and an apprenticeship with bespoke shoemaker Paul Wilson of John Lobb, he joined forces with fellow shoemaker Deborah Carré in 2004 to found Carréducker, now one of the world’s premier names in hand sewn bespoke shoes. They have two workshops in London, teach in London and New York and promote the craft worldwide. James’ practice primarily focuses on the quality of traditional English hand sewn shoemaking combined with a contemporary design ethos.
