Professor Iain Stewart is Professor of Geosciences Communication at Plymouth University, where his research interests include active tectonics, earthquake geology and coastal geodynamics. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and President of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. He has presented a number of science programmes for the BBC, including ‘Earth: The Power of the Planet’.
