Ayona Datta is Professor in Human Geography in University College London. Her research is on postcolonial urbanism, digital futures and the politics of urbanisation in the global south. She received the Busk Medal from Royal Geographical Society in 2019 and was named the President of the Geography Section by the British Science Association in 2023.
