GCSE Maths in Action returns!

GCSE Maths in Action is finally coming back to London as well as being live streamed for our Online audience.

Featuring the maths of sport, statistics in the news and encryption, GCSE Maths in Action promises to have something for everyone.

We are pleased to welcome Emily Grossman who will be stunning us with statistics and James Grime who will show how messages and photos are transmitted on the internet.  Joining James and Emily in London, we are delighted to announce that Tom Crawford will be showing us how to use geometry and probability to improve our sporting performance.  Sophie Maclean will get us applying colouring to a number of puzzles and conundrums and Aimi Elias will introduce us to the maths behind machine learning.  Last but not least, the event will be chaired by the inimitable Bobby Seagull bringing us loads of fun and interaction throughout the day.  For more information and tickets, please visit: https://educationinaction.org.uk/study-day/gcse-maths-in-action-16-03-2022/

As we return to in-person events, GCSE Maths in Action continues to feature lively and enriching sessions exploring a variety of topics carefully designed to extend students’ knowledge.  In addition to our five main talks, a bonus session on examination success from Primrose Kitten will equip students with the tools to fulfil their potential as end of year exams return this year.
