We have a fantastic programme of spectacular English in Action events this year, with each day packed full of inspiring and relevant sessions to complement and extend students’ learning and featuring an exciting combination of lively experts, experienced examiners and well-known poets. With some new and exciting faces and a wealth of expertise on offer, these programmes will stretch, inspire and challenge students to far beyond their classroom learning. Our speakers this year have been carefully selected for their expertise, knowledge and ability to communicate their passion for the subject in an engaging and entertaining manner.
Our exciting speakers this year will include renowned, award-winning poet Grace Nichols and actor, author and creative producer Ben Crystal, who will reveal the secrets to creative writing and confident speaking at our GCSE English event in London. We are equally delighted to welcome actor poet, novelist and playwright Owen Sheers and Shakespearean scholar Professor Emma Smith to speak at our A-level Love Through the Ages day in London.
With plenty of interactive elements and opportunities to engage directly with our speakers, these days are the perfect addition to your school event calendar. Just pick your event and book your students’ places now! We know its early, so rest assured you can amend your booking until 28 days before the event, giving you the time that you need to finalise student numbers.
