Catch Bobby Seagull MBE at Maths in Action and GCSE Maths in Action this spring! Bobby is a former investment banker, chartered accountant and social entrepreneur turned maths teacher, author and TV broadcaster. He has recently been appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the King’s New Year Honours list for services to public libraries.
We are incredibly excited to have Bobby host both Maths in Action and GCSE Maths in Action events, as well as share his mathematical insights with the audience. Bobby champions maths wherever he goes – from presenting BBC’s Monkman & Seagull Genius Guides (discussed trigonometry on prime time) to addressing the House of Lords (state of maths education) and even appearing on Netflix dating show Indian Matchmaking (teaching his Year 8 maths class).
We have an incredible line-up alongside Bobby for both events, that will leave your students buzzing with excitement!
