It’s always a privilege to see students make connections beyond the curriculum, and this spring was no exception. Across a fantastic series of KS3, KS4 and KS5 events, students engaged with ideas that brought their studies to life in new and exciting ways. From exploring the power of isotopes to examining the evolution of pathogens, sessions highlighted how scientific concepts are applied in real-world contexts.
This spring was made even more special as we hosted our KS3 STEM in Action event. Designed to ignite curiosity at an early stage, the day brought together enthusiastic KS3 students for a fast-paced, interactive experience that showcased the very best of science, technology, engineering and maths. From discovering how nature inspires engineering through biomimicry to watching maths come alive with mesmerising smoke rings, every moment was designed to spark curiosity and wonder. There was even the chance to get hands-on with live animals – including the unforgettable experience of petting snakes – bringing learning to life in a truly memorable way.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended these fantastic events. Your enthusiasm, thoughtful questions and eagerness to learn made this season truly memorable. We hope your students returned to the classroom feeling motivated, confident and excited about the possibilities ahead.
